My Gamer History:

Technically started when my old babysitter lent me her PlayStation, and I played Final Fantasy 8. I had played games beforehand, but it wasn’t anything serious. From that day, I started to get my hands on any and all games I could play. I was always a little bit behind in gaming technology, but I eventually got an Xbox 360 till I sold that and bought a PS3, but that was years ago. Now I have my ear to the ground about anything that has to do with gaming.

My Anime History:

I started watching anime before I even knew what it was.  It started like other childhoods with Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Digimon and Cardcaptors (Mostly Toonami Stuff). Back then, I also watched Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away which years later would blow my mind when I realized they were both directed by Miyazaki. I also was introduced to my favorite anime till this day which was the Oh! My Goddess OVA. The first time I heard the word anime was from my cousin who got me into Inuyasha when it was first playing on Adult Swim. At this time Detective Conan or Case Closed was also playing on Adult Swim, so on school nights I would sneak down stairs to watch it.

In high school I joined our anime club and the flood gates blew open for me. From every direction I was getting introduced to new anime. Netflix also helped contribute to me being able to watch all of them. In 2011 I went to my first anime convention, Anime Boston. I went dressed up as Turkey from Hetalia, it was a budget cosplay, a very budget cosplay.
