Haruhi’s Endless Eight Is Not So Endless (Plus A Free Mini-Review of the Arc!)

There was a time not so long ago that I was ecstatic that Kyoto Animation and Kadokawa finally got around to producing season 2 of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. That lasted for about 3 episodes: Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody, and episodes 1 and 2 of the Endless Eight arc. Then, KyoAni and Kadokawa decided it would be a great idea to keep making Endless Eight episodes. According to Anime News Network, eight of them to be exact, with the last one airing this week.

First Glance: Suzumiya Haruhi, Season 2

First, I’ll admit that I’m giddy as a school girl to see a new episode of Haruhi. For those who haven’t seen the first season: PLEASE watch season 1 before touching this episode. It does help. And watch it in broadcast order first. With that out of the way, I’m glad to present you with another round of First Glance.

K-On! Review: Episodes 1-5

I’ll admit, I’ve been slacking in the review department, and I’m here to make amends. Thanks to a binging session last night, I’m here to talk a little about the first 5 episodes of K-On! The show is produced by Kyoto Animation (Haruhi, Lucky Star, Clannad, Air, etc.), a company that most people seem to either love or hate. This season’s production seems to be bringing more of the same around the internet. Either you love this moe-filled depiction of four high school girls in a band or you want to kill me for using the word moe in yet another post.
