The guys over at RPGamer announced that according the latest issue of Famitsu, Japan will be looking forward to a new Lunar game for the PSP. They also posted a picture from the magazine. It looks like it is a remake of Silver Star Story, but it is unknown right now whether they will draw on the Sega Saturn or Playstation versions for this remake.

So once again an awesome fan made game is crushed by a studio that refuses to release any more games in one of their series. Over at Chrono Compendium they have been working on a fan mod of the original Chrono Trigger called Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes. After getting to 98+% completion a C&D letter was sent. 4 Leaf Studios has released the first act of the Katawa Shoujo visual novel. Katawa Shoujo was made using the Ren’Py engine, and is released under the Creative Commons license. The demo covers Act 1, the release date for the completed game has not yet been announced.

As part of the unveiling of D&D 4th edition a set of quick start rules a full adventure and basic character creator software are available for free download. First a disclaimer. I’ve never really been of fan of D&D. The rules have always seemed like they were written by a retard (see What’s Wrong with D&D) and the monsters were developed by the “Amazing Man of No Imagination” as evidenced here with 30 years of Stupid Monsters. Over at Capcom-Unity, they announced the newest addition to the Ace Attorney series will hit the streets this winter in both the US and Europe. It is scheduled for Japanese release on May 28th.

Apparently George Will and Daniel Akst have taken issue with American society’s choice of attire. Akst wrote the original article which decries denim being worn in lieu of dress attire, and to some degree, I can appreciate that.
