DailyLivesHighSchoolBoysBoxsetAfter announcing the series’ license way back in January 2012, NIS America will be bringing Daily Lives of High School Boys to North America before the end of summer. The 12-episode series, based on Yasunobu Yamauchi’s manga, follows teenagers Tadakuni, Hidenori and Yoshitake as they, oddly enough, go through their daily lives in high school. The series is a slice-of-life comedy that will remind you about how awkward and silly high school was (or is, as the case may be). The show is set up with multiple skits per episode, reminiscent in some ways of the adaptations of Lucky Star or Azumanga Daioh.

The premium edition, releasing August 6th, will get the standard NIS America treatment: for $64.99, you’ll get the series on two Blu-ray discs plus artbook and slipcase. The series will be available shortly from NIS America’s store as well as Right Stuf and other online retailers.
