A summary of the announcements from the Microsoft press conference at Gamescom.

Age of Empires Online:
Age of Empires Online goes live on August 16th. There will be 40 hours of free to play and then you’ll need a subscription. If you purchase the Greek and Egyptian Premium Civilizations, users will get the Defense of Crete Booster Pack free.

Dance Central 2:
Dance Central 2 launches on Oct. 21 in Europe and Asia, Oct. 25 in North America, and Oct. 27 in Japan. A 2- player simultaneous dancing will be available as well as a Free Style mode have been added. In addition, you will be able to use voice commands to move through the menu system.

Forza Motorsport 4:
Launches in North America on Oct. 11, Europe Oct. 14, and globally Oct. 20.

Gears of War 3:
Launching globally on September 20th. Gears of War 3 will get a German release for the first time. (They’re kinda sensitive about violence in games.)

Kinect Fun Labs: Air Band
It’s Air Guitar, and drums, and keyboard game. Launches August 22.

Kinect Sports: Season Two
Launches in North America on Oct. 25, in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand on Oct. 27, and in Europe on Oct. 28. It’s adding 2 new games, Darts and Tennis. Pre-order for avatar gear.

Kinect Star Wars

On Oct. 11 Kinectimals adds bears and adds a Windows Phone 7 version.
