Fans of dubbed anime now have another place to get their fix. If you have an Xbox 360, you can download Viz Media’s 24-hour anime channel, Neon Alley, from Xbox Live as of February 12th. Before this, the app was only available to PS3 owners.
Viz launched Neon Alley back in October 2012 as a subscription service that plays dubbed anime from multiple companies around the clock in HD. Some well-known companies apart from Viz that have shows on Neon Alley include Aniplex, Funimation, and Anime News Network. You can subscribe to the service for $6.99/month.
Neon Alley doesn’t let you pick what you watch or provide subbed anime like other streaming services, but it does seem to have a lot of popular series, including Naruto Shippuden and One Piece. Most recently, Viz announced that Aniplex plans to bring Fate/Zero to the channel this spring. If you’re interested in learning more, you can check out the official site here.
