This latest batch of Atelier Meruru screenshots runs the gamut of what you’ll see in the game. For those who haven’t played a PS3-era Atelier game, the gallery below shows off Meruru and her comrades exploring, talking, fighting and synthesizing, which covers most everything you do in an Atelier game. The fighting screenshots don’t show off too much, though, as the only enemy is an angry looking bunny with a carrot.

Fans of the series will see that not too much has changed since Atelier Totori – same game engine, same beautiful art style. There are also cameos from both Atelier Rorona and Atelier Totori: Rorona, Totori, Filly, Astrid, Esty and even Masked G all make appearances in the gallery below.

Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland from NIS America is scheduled for release in May 2012 on PlayStation 3. Atelier fan? Let us know in the comments!

    • @Jennifer Griffith, I think my favorite thing about the PS3 Atelier games is that they’re so different in scope than most other JRPGs. They’re more slice-of-life, not nearly so epic in their adventures as compared to a Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest. Of course, I love the art style, too.
