Sonia Im from Square Enix has announced via the Playstation Blog that they will be remaking the classic strategy RPG Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for the Playstation Portable. They have already launched a site for the game here, but have yet to announce a release date for Japan or elsewhere. The title was first released in Northa America 1998 for the original Playstation, but was originally designed as a 1995 Super Famicom release in Japan.

Fans of the original version of the game will be delighted to know that the original staff has well…clung together…after all these years to create the remake as well. The new version will offer 3D maps and updated graphics along with a re-made soundtrack that included 15 new songs. The new version will also add an ability called “Battle Skill.”

There isn’t much more news to go around right now, but we will be sure to update when we know anything.
