Production I.G. has announced that Eden of the East: Paradise Lost, the second feature film in the Eden of the East series, has been delayed until March due to difficulties in production.

Eden of the East was a big hit during the Spring 2009 anime season, and during the final episode, they announced 2 movies to finish off the story. According to the trailer (in Japanese), Eden of the East: The King of Eden was to play at theatres around Japan on November 28th, while Eden of the East: Paradise Lost launched on January 9th.

Higashi no Eden is a new anime that started airing in Japan in April 2009. It is an original series from Production I.G. and is not related to the manga that shares its name. It has been licensed by FUNimation Entertainment for distribution in North America. Funimation has suggested a 2010 release for the series, but no firm dates have been announced.
