Keep Them or Trade Them (Wii Points Edition): My Life as a Darklord

If My Life as a King played like SimCity meets a SquareEnix RPG, then My Life as a Darklord is the much less well-known SimTower meets a SquareEnix RPG. You play Mira, the newly crowned 16 y/o Dark Lord (or Dark Lady I guess). She is the daughter of the previous Dark Lord who was trapped in a crystal. The game has a very cute-gothic style to it.

Keep It or Trade It? Overlord: Dark Legend (Wii)

Once again we enter the world of evil, this time to conquer Grenvale and the surrounding lands. Rhianna Pratchett was once again tapped to write the story and dialogue. While Overlord and Overlord 2 follow a direct descendant line and are a continuous story, here we follow a new Overlord, in a new time period. K-On! Review: Episodes 1-5

I’ll admit, I’ve been slacking in the review department, and I’m here to make amends. Thanks to a binging session last night, I’m here to talk a little about the first 5 episodes of K-On! The show is produced by Kyoto Animation (Haruhi, Lucky Star, Clannad, Air, etc.), a company that most people seem to either love or hate. This season’s production seems to be bringing more of the same around the internet. Either you love this moe-filled depiction of four high school girls in a band or you want to kill me for using the word moe in yet another post.
