The 2011 WinterCon in El Paso will be held on Saturday, December 10th at the Camino Real Hotel. Comic artists, anime artists, and dealers will be available, as well as access to three anime screening rooms, two panel rooms, and a video game room (courtesy of 8bitfix).
Don’t forget to check out the cosplay contest and masquerade, video gaming tournaments and panels. Get there early for Dragonball Dodge Ball and karaoke; stay up late for Mario Party Live and the Halo: Anniversary Exhibition and LAN Party!
BONUS: Need to get off Santa’s “naughty” list? Donate a NEW unwrapped & tagged toy for Toys for Tots: you’ll also get a discount on admission.
Featuring performances by Alodex, Cat As Trophy, Dawn Patrol, and Nausicaa; DJs will also be providing musical entertainment throughout the day.
Pre-registration is still available until December 5th:
- $10 for children under 10
- $12 for adults
- Family and group specials are available!
At the door, admission is FREE for children 5 and under, $12 for children under 10, and $15 for adults.

Tickets are $25 at the door. Bishie Con is an 18+ event which requires ID.
